Peking University and the Sunflower Technical Project group developed and released to the public the first portable operating system with NT kernel, called Sunflower portable intelligent operating system with cloud (with one Chinese Version and one English version). This technology can mobilize any software and is compatible with any Windows driver. The technology is convenient for Windows users because its unique functions complement those that Windows does not have:
1. The system can carry all softwares, programs, drivers, and systems that run under Windows. After installing, the portable plug-and-play Sunflower system can be used anywhere. It is compatible with any local system, and can be seamlessly integrated with Windows. In addition to being intelligent, lightweight, and quick-start, the system has a comparative running speed with local software and system. Moreover, the system is immunized against virus.
2. Sunflower has a large number of professional versions. Approximately 6,000 softwares for 20 industries are pre-installed in the system. After downloading, users can use this system anywhere.
3. Users can finish tasks through the powerful online operating system and other online programs available with a simple click of the mouse.
4. Users can gather in the Suncloud cloud network to achieve fast search, rapid download, and lightning chats, and set own radio stations. We call for users to share resources and get to know each other, and strive to build a platform where everyone can find anything and anybody they are looking for.

Protection
Now you no longer worry about virus or hack. You can save your effected PC by scaning virus and killing them from your mobile device (online or offline). You can also backup your files easily, protect your passwords, and encrypt your mobile device!
How to Use Sunflower Mobilesystem with Cloud
It is very easy and do not need any long manual. When you downloaded this software, please save it in the root of a mobile device. And then click the Sunflower.exe, it will run immediately and appear on the right corner of your screen. As the picture shows above. It is like a four page book, and each page contains its specific functions, see the picture below. If not minimized or closed, this mobilesystem will always appear on the screen. The default theme is classic, if you want to change to some other beautiful themes, go to the fourth page and click "theme". The first page is a mobile calendar, and you can write memories or notes on it. The second page is your mobile album, which displays photos as you set. The third page, anyway, is the most important part of this software. It integrates functions and preinstalled softwares. 20 functions are integrated and as the picture on head shows. Then if you download the full version or ultimate suite, you can click the little gray arrow, and then you will see a list of 210 softwares, arranged in categories with short descriptions. Just click anyone and begin to use it. The last page, however, allows you to change theme, visit library, and install mobile softwares. Download .sun softwares from our website, and install them by clicking the button "Mobile Apps".
For cloud accounts and settings, turn to the fourth page (the last page), and click on "Documents", then you will see generated accounts and introduction which tell you how to set up your Online system, cloud FTP, cloud VPN and supercomputers.
And How to Use Sunflower Online system and Suncloud Net
When you start the Sunflower.exe, and turn to the fourth page, click on "Documents", you can find a PDF file named "SunflowerOS introduction", which is your easy guide. You have a default account in it, and to activate your personal account you just need to send an email to mobilelab@pku.edu.cn and we send you a VIP accounts.If you can access the Internet from a computer, you can securely access your online system anywhere in the world. We cooperat with WesternDigital, and WD 2go web access provides your remote access to your online system. Once you log in, WD 2go mounts a 200G virtual disk to your computer like a local drive and our online system is available on your Mac or PC. Just one click, and you can run more than a thousand softwares from this virtual drive, and save your files or documents, watch movies or listen to musics too (we have an extra media support technology, no lag). What's more, you can add your own softwares or share free softwares with people(see that PDF guide).

- No Worry about Virus
No matter how carefully one uses the computer, they are still exposed to online threats and malware attacks, so the importance of having a correctly-configured antivirus solution should not be underestimated. - How fast is our super computer clusters
A supercomputer is a computer at the frontline of current processing capacity, particularly speed of calculation. Supercomputers were introduced in the 1960s and were designed primarily by Seymour Cray at Control Data Corporation (CDC), and later at Cray Research. While the supercomputers of the 1970s used only a few processors, in the 1990s, machines with thousands of processors began to appear and by the end of the 20th century, massively parallel supercomputers with tens of thousands of "off-the-shelf" processors were the norm. The Peking University cluster runs over 1,000 processors using normal data center air conditioning, grouped in 72 racks/cabinets connected by a high-speed, optical network. A weather forcasting model which takes 5 hours to run on IBM T61 now needs 3 minutes only. Why not try? it's free now!
